The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the swimming pool was really an asset. Good and correct receptionists.
At first, the electricity in my room worked poorly. However, after mentioning this to the front desk, I got another (larger) room. The terrace on my room wasn't the cleanest.
-
the rooms for singles were large and very comfortable. Waiting staff excellent and decent array for breakfast. Quiet at night. Lovely pool and absolutely nobody else in it. Within easy walking distance of the walled city and safe to walk home at night.
The lattic work on the blacony which made it oppressive and not a place you would want to sit and have your g&t. Also only one small lift to serve a load of rooms and a long queue formed when several people booking in together.

Ate at the hotel and one of the best meals we had in croatia.Very reasonable price and excellent service.
Good location for walk into old town but approach is not very nice area.Workmen woke us up working on pool area .Pool was not in use and whole area is currently being refurbished. Probably will be nice when finished
-
Very close to old town centre. Good base to go to national parks. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Pool being renovated so a lot of work going on. Food in restaurant average for hotel of this rating. 10 minnute walk throughpark area fromtoown which was nott conducive to gong into town for dinner as not a populated area ato return bak at night, and no alternative dinign at hotel (only one restaurant and nothingelse around.

Excelent services and a good location.

Friendliness, courteousness & helpfulness of all staff, most with good or excellent English; Cleanliness everywhere, good housekeeping; Good food, good selection of food at all mealtimes and cheap; Air-conditioned; Balconies; Nice swimming pool; Fitness & massage facilities. Poolside sunbathing w/ sunloungers & sunbroliies; Beach 30m away and sea-side location; Within comfortable walking distance of Zadar by coast road or streets. Good supply of tourist information in many languages at Reception. Zadar is a nice little old town.
No poolside restaurant/bar but you can buy drinks inside the hotel and take outside. Not allowed to eat outside on patio or poolside (my biggest dislike!), only in the restaurant and then only at appointed mealtimes. Gourmet Food/Wine Bar open but no one used it while I was there though menu prices reasonable. Room Service almost non-existent, mini-bar in rooms ok. Tourist excursions not arranged by hotel but staff can call for a rep to visit you, or you can book outside main gate, or (cheaper bookings direct) in Zadar port. Internet room does not have printing facility. Hotel Bar, in the Reception area, is too open for quiet relaxation, closes at 11pm. Nearby beachside bars open late but no nearby late-night restaurants.
-
Quiet. Convenient hotel for the Old Town. Nice bit of beach right by the hotel.
Quite expensive for what it is. Fairly gruesome buffet breakfast of poor quailty and nasty coffee.
-
Very good location
Very expensive for an average hotel. as with many Croatian hotels the breakfast coffee is terrible. I do not know where they get this from as once outside of the hotel or even in the hotel bar they serve excellent coffee. For the price charged for B&B however a decent coffee should be included
-
location + to get to the heart of Zadar it seems this is the only one
breakfast very limited, beds creep very uncomfortable, very old and run down needs attending to. Staff very lazy unhelpful even when you speak there language fluently,
-
Free Wifi Good location for old city Swimming pool Good breakfast
-
Very nice clean room with sea view, excellent salt-water pool, nice views over adjoining shingle beach, 10 minutes walk to City centre. Good evening buffet at modest cost and excellent buffet breakfast.
-
cleanliness ,design of hotel interior.pool, personel; situation
our bed in room 125 was hard and uncomfortable with springs that could be felt through the underlay.
-
the staff was friendly , part of them didn"t speak english very well, were flexible and let as staying in the room 2 hours more. the food was excellent .beds very comfortable. distance walking from old city . quiet. clean
- the air conditioning very noisy in the room . - no elevator for all the floors. they need to let people know that are no elevators.
-
friendly and helpful reception & staff. reasonably close to old city, five minute walk or inexpensive taxi ride. lovely pool with beautiful view across to the sea front. nice clean, modern bedroom and bathroom which was up to our expectations. we would use the hotel again
nothing wrong at all. a pleasant surprise.
-
I liked that it was opposite the beach. A ten minute walk to Zadar. The room is nice. Its a good hotel for a one night stay but no further.
The staff was not all that friendly. Breakfast was average. Hotel is old and definitely needs some work.
